Budapest Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years on Váci Road

Hundreds of Scientologists assembled at the Váci Road church in Budapest to mark the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.

Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary brought together a religious service, musical performances, a photographic and news european elections video retrospective and a presentation looking toward the coming years.

Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
