Budapest Scientology Community Marks 10-Year Milestone

Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.

Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become a centre for worship, education and community activities. The anniversary included a religious service, musical performances, news european parliament a photographic and video retrospective and a presentation looking toward the coming years.

Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
